Q: How do I fill out an application?

A: All applications must be completed via Zillow.  There will be an application fee as well as a credit check and background check.

Q: How will I schedule a home tour?

A: Scheduling will be done via Zillow messenger or be directly contacting me via at Contact@ScottRentalProperty.com

Q: What is the lease signing process?

A: The lease will be tailored to the individual renter's situation.  All leases will be created, signed, and stored via Zillow.  No shorter than a 12-month lease will be negotiated.  A Month-to-Month payment option will be available once the lease is up, but your intentions must be made known to me a month in advance whether you plan to move out or begin month-to-month.

Q: Pet Policy

A: Standard household pets are allowed at all properties.  Pet cleaning fees post move-out may be assessed.

Q: Will I need renter's insurance?

A: Yes, you will be required to acquire and maintain renter's insurance while occupying the property and under a lease.

Q: If there is an issue with the home, what should I do?

A: Immediately contact me.  I will have the issue attended to ASAP and in emergency situations have a repair company for whatever the issue is arrive immediately.  Smaller home issues (such as air filters, clogged drains, light bulb replacements, etc will be on the renter to resolve).

Q: What is the payment process?

A: All payments are done through Zillow Rental Manager. Via your Zillow renter hub, you can link a checking account and set up automatic payments. Payments are due on the 1st of each month.
